The St. John’s-based workforce of Gushue, Mark Nichols, Brett Gallant and Geoff Walker scored a deuce within the tenth finish for the victory.

Canada leads the 13-team round-robin standings at 9-2 whereas Scotland fell to 6-5.

Sweden’s Niklas Edin (8-3), who defeated Canada earlier within the competitors, was idle for the morning draw on the Orleans Arena.

Canada will shut out its round-robin schedule within the night in opposition to Denmark’s Tobias Thune.

The prime two seeds earn berths in Saturday’s semifinals whereas the opposite 4 playoff groups will meet in qualification video games to hitch them. Medal video games are scheduled for Sunday.
