Downtown murder suspect again in jail after day in hospital

MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Sheriff’s Office says certainly one of two suspects in Madison’s first murder of the 12 months is again within the Dane County Jail, a day after being despatched to the hospital.

Online data confirmed 25-year-old Amond Galtney was again within the jail Friday morning, with Dane County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Elise Schaffer confirming to News 3 Now that he had been returned.

Schaffer was unable to share any details about Galtney’s medical situation, together with why he was hospitalized Thursday or when he was admitted.

Galtney was certainly one of two folks arrested in connection to a lethal capturing outdoors the Dane Co. Jail in downtown Madison that left 32-year-old Dwayne Lee Collins, Jr. useless as he left the constructing together with his mom.
