MADISON, Wis. – The final two years introduced us many twists and turns, however an area girl hopes we are able to use these to our benefit shifting ahead.
Julie Murphy Agnew is introducing her new guide, which is her first one as native writer. It’s referred to as “In It Together.” In her guide, she talks concerning the significance of how 2020 modified us all.
As Julie describes in each phrases and pictures, it supplied us with new experiences, necessary classes, and alternatives.
“The storyline changed sometimes, just because of what was going on,” Julie defined. “It’s interesting that it’s now published, but everything is still completely relatable. What I have found out through getting the book in people’s hands is that there is something that resonates with everybody.”
Julie began the undertaking after dropping her job at the beginning of the pandemic and seeing households spending a lot time collectively, together with her personal as a brand new mother.
She put a name out to dozens of oldsters, within the hopes of amassing photographs and experiences from everybody. The subjects vary from wherever from quarantine, Black Lives Matter and politics.
“This was something that stemmed from Madison, but anybody can relate to it,” Julie added. “I think as my daughter gets older she’ll appreciate it, where right now she has no idea. She calls it the heart book where the hands are in the shape of a heart, but some day she’ll know I was the one behind it.”
Julie says she continues to be proud to name Madison dwelling and can maintain doing her half in staying energetic in the neighborhood. She’s actually into health and coaching, even competing within the Ironman right here in Madison.
For each 100 books bought, Julie will likely be donating a guide to a college, library, little free library or group.
