Cha Cha Real Smooth debuted at the Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim. It’s directed by and stars Cooper Raiff (who previously directed and starred in Shithouse), as a young man working as a party host. He’s struggling with figuring out what to do with his life. He meets a woman called Domino (played by Dakota Johnson from Suspiria) and her autistic daughter Lola (played by newcomer Vanessa Burghardt). Him and Lola connect, and Domino hires him to be her babysitter. While a friendship grows between the two, Domino starts to consider a romantic relationship with him as well. This also stars Leslie Mann (from This is 40), Brad Garrett (from Everybody Loves Raymond), and Raúl Castillo (from Army of the Dead).

Love, Victor (Season 3)

Next up, it’s time for the final season of a teen drama!

Love, Victor is a spin-off of the movie Love, Simon. It’s about a gay teen called Victor (played by Michael Cimino from Annabelle Comes Home) and his struggle with romantic relationships. From dealing with one friend who’s crushing on him, to the struggles that puts on his relationship with his boyfriend, this show is a heart-wrenching look at a modern high schooler and the state of their mind. This show also stars Mason Gooding (from Booksmart), James Martinez (from House of Cards), and Anna Ortiz (from Ugly Betty).

Next up, it’s time to go to infinity and beyond!

Lightyear is a movie based on the character of Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story series. The premise of the movie is that in Andy (the owner of the toys in Toy Story) saw a movie back in 1995 about Buzz Lightyear, and Lightyear is the movie he watched. This film stars Chris Evans (from the Avengers and Knives Out) as the titular astronaut. This movie depicts his travels in outer space, including travelling into the future due to the relative nature of time dilation between planets. He encounters an evil empire led by Emperor Zurg (played by James Brolin from Westworld), and has to escape his clutches to get back home. This film also stars Uzo Aduba (from Orange is the New Black), Keke Palmer (from Hustlers), and Taika Waititi (from Our Flag Means Death).

God’s Favorite Idiot

Now, let’s take a look at an apocalyptic comedy!

God’s Favorite Idiot stars real life husband and wife Ben Falcone (from Enough Said) and Melissa McCarthy (from Bridesmaids). Falcone plays Clark, an average Joe who works with Amily (played by McCarthy). One day, Clark is struck by lightning from an angelic cloud. After this, he starts to glow. He becomes a viral sensation, and Amily and his coworkers try to figure out what this might mean. Eventually an angel drops down and tells Clark that he’s been chosen to be God’s messenger, and he is supposed to stop the apocalypse. This show also stars Leslie Bibb (from Jupiter’s Legacy), Kevin Dunn (from Veep), and Yanic Truesdale (from Gilmore Girls).

Lastly, it’s time for a movie about a mad scientist!

Spiderhead stars Chris Hemsworth (from Thor and Blackhat) as the mad scientist. He runs a sort of experimental prison where he tests various emotional drugs on the prisoners. Miles Teller (from Whiplash and Top Gun: Maverick) plays one of the main prisoners, feeling emotions of love, fear and complacency all from the various drugs Hemsworth tests on him. Teller soon discovers a plan showing these drugs have a sinister usage, and he’s got to try to stop it. This film also stars Jurnee Smollett (from Birds of Prey) and Tess Haubrich (from Wolf Creek).
