Next Pokemon Go Ultra Beasts Have Go Fest Release Dates

More Ultra Beasts are coming to Pokemon Go in 2022 and Niantic has confirmed the release dates for them.

The good news is that Trainers will technically have the chance of adding another three Beasts to their squad over the coming weeks.

However, the downside is that they will be debuting first at Pokemon Go Fests hosted by Niantic around the globe, making it difficult to catch each one straight away.

Pokemon Go Ultra Beast Release Dates Confirmed

Niantic has confirmed that Pheromosa, Buzzwole, and Xurkitree are all coming to Pokemon Go via Go Fest events in 2022. And while you will need to attend every event to catch them as soon as possible, that doesn’t they will be exclusive to Go Fest’s in Berlin, Seattle and Sapporo.

That’s because while each of these Ultra Beasts will be making their debut at Go Fest events, they will eventually arrive in-game for everyone. This means that after these Ultra Beasts debut during their respective in-person Pokémon GO Fest events, they will appear globally later in the Season of GO.

For those who haven’t encountered them before, Ultra Beasts are mysterious Pokémon originating from Ultra Space. One such Ultra Beast, Nihilego, made its first appearance during Pokémon GO Fest. And for those wanting to know when the next ones will be appearing, Niantic has confirmed the schedule for the next Ultra Beast Debuts:

  • July 1 Debut In Berlin – Pheromosa
  • July 22 Debut In Seattle – Buzzwole
  • August 5 Debut In Sapporo – Xurkitree

And for those attending one of these events, Niantic is going to make it easier to catch the Ultra Beasts, confirming this week: “After working together with you to confront Nihilego,Rhi of the GO Ultra Recon Squad has created a limited number of Beast Balls—a special kind of Poké Ball—to help in-person Pokémon GO Fest attendees catch an Ultra Beast as part of Special Research during each in-person Pokémon GO Fest event.”
