GRANVILLE, W.Va. — West Virginia secured a sweep of Baylor Sunday afternoon with a 7-5 win within the collection finale. WVU (20-10, 5-1 Big 12) stays in first place within the Big 12 Conference following their first two weekends of league play.

The Mountaineers did their share of injury within the first two innings. WVU scored 4 runs within the first inning and two extra within the second. Baylor responded with 5 runs within the fourth however West Virginia by no means relinquished the lead.

Eight totally different Mountaineers had no less than one hit. Austin Davis went 3-for-4 with a house run and three runs scored. Chris Sleeper earned the win in reduction for West Virginia. He tossed 4 scoreless frames and allowed simply two hits. Trey Braithwaite collected his third save of the season by pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
