Rick And Morty, Supreme And More

Streetwear drop well and truly capture the fashion industry of today.

With limited stock—‘dropped’ in limited time frames at each brands’ desire—they not only attract customers looking for exclusive, unique pieces but disrupt the ‘seasonal’ systems that have limited designers from experimenting in decades past.

It’s a win-win, all things considered; customers lucky enough to strike while the stock is hot get something special and brands, almost inevitably, find their stock flies off the shelves in days, if not hours.

As we approach Spring/Summer 2022 itself, it seems it’s not just streetwear heavy-hitters getting involved in drops, either.

This week, even French fashion companies and alcohol brands are in on the fun, including:

Rick and Morty x Teddy Fresh

Firstly, we have the brand new Teddy Fresh x Rick and Morty capsule collection which launches today.

Beyond Rick and Morty themselves, the dominant character in the multi-colored collection is Mr. Poopybutthole, aka Professor Poopybutthole, the long-time family friend of the Smith Family.

With unisex sweatshirts, joggers, t-shirts and more, other pieces are dedicated to Dimension C-137, Mr. Meeseeks, and Snuffles, offering something for every kind of Rick and Morty superfan.

Supreme Spring/Summer 2022 Release 4

The fourth drop of Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection launches this week, too, following suit with a collection dominated by a striking mix of patterns, prints, embroidery and badge applications.

Continuing its major collaboration series for the season, this week’s offering is also an extension of their collaboration with artist Nate Lowman.

The drop is comprised of a Hooded Down Pullover, Schott Leather Work Jacket, Lace Hooded Sweatshirt, Ambigram Hooded Sweatshirt and Keychain, and Mini Plaid Hooded Shirt, some of which features Lowman’s signature bullet-hole artwork (drawn from a bullet-hole car decal that a friend found at a Texas gas station).

Minecraft x Lacoste

An unlikely partnership has taken form between the crocodile-logoed French fashion company Lacoste and sandbox video game Minecraft.

The unique collaboration has been designed to “build bridges between two alternative worlds”, according to the brands, merging the codes of both brands to do so.

The result is a large, inclusive collection of Lacoste staples (like polos, sweatshirts and caps) adorned with pixelated Minecraft details. It has just dropped on the Lacoste webstore, and a limited run will be available in UK Lacoste stores from March 23.

Hennessy V.S x Les Twins

Last but not least, we have cognac kings Hennessy introducing a debut clothing line in collaboration with French dance duo, Les Twins.

Designed by none other than Pigalle founder Stéphane Ashpool, the Hennessy V.S 15-piece capsule collection adapts streetwear staples with elevated French details. Take the leather bomber jacket, featuring an embroidered double bras armé logo on its back, or the sumptuous lambskin vest—the epitome of luxury streetwear. \

Everyday pieces aren’t forgotten here, either, with a range of hoodies and t-shirts included, and they are all available to buy now exclusively on HBX.
