ROCHELLE — Toby Larson, 81, handed away peacefully on Saturday, April 16 at Bria of Geneva, after a seven-year battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born to Louis and Hilda (Trothing) Larson on Oct. 13, 1940, he grew up, attended faculty in Rochelle, grew to become a farmer along with his associate, Stan Magnusson, married Saundra and had 5 kids.  

Spending most of his life in Rochelle, he beloved his city. He attended St. Paul Lutheran Church. An ideal household man, he labored onerous to supply and provides his kids a great schooling. When Saundra handed, he spent his time with household actions, working and his passion of capturing entice. He is also discovered with different farmers on the Sunrise, Butterfly or Moore’s Hardware retailer, till he met and married his present spouse, Doris. They loved a beautiful marriage and once they retired, they moved to Florida and traveled. Three years into his sickness, he returned to the world and entered reminiscence care nearer to his house and youngsters. He handed along with his spouse, daughter, Susie and her husband at his bedside.  

Toby’s humor, kindness, light spirit and love of household can be drastically missed by his spouse, Doris Larson; kids: Shelly Barkei, Sherry (Robert) Thompson, Todd (Melaney) Larson, Susan (Dan) Hanlin and Troy (Julie) Larson; step sons: Christopher (Megan) Miller and Scott (Jackie) Miller; grandchildren: Brandon Barkei, Kelsey (Garrett) Koch, Blake Toliver, Conner Burger, Taylor Burger, Austin Loyd, Nolan Larson and Bailey Larson; step grandchildren: Brennan Miller, Keegan Miller, Kylie Miller, Morgan Miller, Brooke Miller and Trenton Miller; nice grandchildren: Dani Loyd and Harper Koch; sister, Louise Doner and niece, Julie Ellis and nephew, Joey Doner.

In addition to his mother and father, he’s preceded in demise by his first spouse, Saundra.

There can be a graveside service at 11 a.m., Monday, April 2 at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle with Joy Alsop officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Toby’s reminiscence could also be made to L.B.D.A.
