A number of big-name signings are set to run out for the first time for Cronulla and Canterbury tonight.
The Sharks and Bulldogs do battle in the final pre-season NRL trial, at PointsBet Stadium from 6pm (AEDT).
Nicho Hynes and Dale Finucane play their first games for Cronulla, having left Melbourne at the end of last season. They will line up at five-eighth and lock respectively.
The Bulldogs welcome star winger Josh Addo-Carr – a former Storm teammate of Hynes and Finucane – as well as fellow recruits Matt Burton, Brent Naden, and Braidon Burns for the trial game.
Andrew Fifita will also play his first game for Cronulla since a horror throat injury last year threatened his life, and career.
The Sharks lost 34-6 to Penrith in last week’s trial, while the Bulldogs drew 16-16 with the Knights.
