Lifelong Pinedale resident Ralph T. Faler Sr., 88, handed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, on the hospital in Rock Springs. Ralph was born Nov. 15, 1933, in Jackson Hole, Wyo., to Elmer and Ernesta (Postel) Faler, one in all three siblings along with his brother Bill and sister Judy. He began his education in Pinedale at age 5 when he started the primary grade. He was capable of skip the eighth grade due to excessive teachers and excessive class capability on the time and this allowed him to graduate early from Pinedale High School in 1950, on the age of 16.

Following commencement, Ralph served his nation within the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 through the Korean War and within the reserves for the following six years. He was stationed in Alaska with the Second Platoon, Company A, 23rd Armored Infantry. After returning residence from his army service he grew to become a looking information and began a taxidermy enterprise along with his brother Bill in 1955; this grew to become his ardour and profession for the following 63 years, retiring in 2018.

He married his lifetime accomplice and sweetheart Charlotte Fay Brewer on May 28, 1960, in Pinedale, Wyo. To this union have been born two kids: Ralph Jr. in 1962 and Elana in 1965. Throughout his life Ralph was an avid outdoorsman; he beloved looking and fishing, rock looking and plenty of types of art work. He was a giant Wyoming Cowboys sports activities fan!

Ralph is survived by his spouse Charlotte Faler; son Ralph T. Faler Jr.; daughter Lana Koppenhafer; and three grandchildren Warren and Kyla Koppenhafer and Talon Faler. He is preceded in loss of life by his dad and mom, Elmer and Ernesta Faler; brother Wiliam “Bill” Faler and sister Judith “Judy” Faler. A memorial service was held Thursday, March 3, at 3 p.m. on the Pinedale Library’s Lovatt Room and a reception instantly adopted the service there on the library.
