Why You Need To Start Paying Attention To Your Skin Now

What Will Beauty And Wellness Look Like in 2022?

For me, the New Year represents the truest notion of a fresh start and the resiliency and power of newly founded determination. Like most people, when I prepare for the New Year, the first thing on my mind is health and beauty. I am not alone in my thoughts. It seems to be a natural progression to make healthy choices with respect to diet and exercise. Two of the front-runners in luxury skincare and beauty are none other that Chanel and Tom Ford. And 2022 will prove to be a tremendous rise in effective skin products and facial procedures for men – aiming to climb the corporate ladder to success. Plain and simple, a fresh complexion matters – for both men and women. American fashion designer Tom Ford extends the brands mens and womens product offerings to enhance the skin glow as the clock turns to 2022.

Nicci Levy, Founder of Alchemy 43 says, “Skinbetter Science is a medical grade skincare line that delivers active ingredients to the skin in a non-irritating way. It’s extremely effective and delivers great results. It’s a wonderful complement to our services!”

Over the past year, the pandemic has seemingly redefined the importance of the things we use to take for granted. For example, a physical presence at the office. For most Americans, the lockdown had given rise to sloppy dressing habits and a lack of self-care. And ladies, when it comes to skin replenishing for the New Year, Chanel offers a skincare expert list, equipped with a handful of some of the most desirable items for skin replenishing. For example, Le Lift Crème helps smooth firm and illuminates skin for a healthy glow.

Nevertheless, it inspired new ideas in technology and therapeutic breakthroughs that provided some consolation amid a global outbreak. In 2022, the consumer trend is leaning towards health and happiness. And that brings me to skincare and wellness.

In order for it to thrive, skin needs to be balanced. It is essential for maintaining a hydrated and glowing complexion. And what is confusing to consumers have been overloaded with too much information. In short, you simply need to know how to nurture your skin for a happier, healthier skin glow. Thankfully today, research has awakened a whole new understanding of skin biology and shifted the paradigm of how we take care of our skin and create healthier products. It’s a new frontier in skincare and wellness. And the positive results will be a sure-fire way to gain a healthy dose self-confidence at work and at home.

I think by now most consumers know that by drinking water, vitamin D consumption… are good starters to achieve healthy skin.

The Future of Skincare:

In the advanced digital age, social media has accelerated consumer interest in skincare. The reason being is that filters can instantly achieve more youthful skin in a matter of minutes. After all, who hasn’t dreamed of having a brighter complexion and less wrinkles of sagging skin. We can all look ageless. How sweet. But sadly, a reality check sets-in with a face-to-face meeting. Then what?

The fact is that fine lines, uneven skin tone and skin laxity inevitably appear once past a certain age. Luckily, thanks to research on anti-aging ingredients being applied to skincare products that make it possible to achieve results — especially when these products are used in combination with in-office treatments.

Alchemy 43 is a revolutionary medical aesthetics brand specializing micro-treatments. Each treatment is minimally invasive, and can easily be a part of your personal aesthetic & wellness maintenance regimen.

The brand aims to make these services more approachable, more accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable. The team of licensed medical practitioners (RNs, PA-Cs, NPs) undergo consistent training and boast the most advanced knowledge of their premium products and your individual facial anatomy – namely the 43 muscles of the face.

Prior to making a decision clients can undergo a 3D consultation that simulates expected results with state-of-the-art Canfield VECTRA® 3D imaging software. The treatments are designed to be comfortable, convenient, and customizable to each client’s personal aesthetic goals on the path to dressing for success while presenting yourself with healthy facial skin for the office.

I recently has the privilege of speaking with the Founder of Alchemy 43 Nicci Levy, about why skin health is becoming more recognized to boomer, Gen X and zoomers and why she thinks having a great beauty & wellness regimen relates to confidence on the path to success at the office place!

Joseph DeAcetis: In your expert opinion, why do you think having facial enhancement procedures is important on the path to corporate ascension?

Nicci Levy: I think one of the main things we pride ourselves on is the undeniable boost of confidence our treatments provide for our clients – they’re living proof! Micro Treatments are something you do for you, so I always want to urge people to be treated to enhance their day to day life with that extra level of confidence whether that be in the board room or at home.

JD: At what age do you recommend coming in for a consultation?

NL: It’s never really too early to start taking care of your skin. I recommend preventative Botox as early as your mid 20’s.  Botox can have amazing preventative effects where over time, your muscles are trained to react less so those deep and static expression lines never even form in the first place!

JD:Talk to Forbes viewers about what a procedure entails and how quickly one can see positive results?

NL:Every microtreatment is different but all of our appointments start with a complimentary consultation where our expert practitioners have an in depth discussion with each client about their individual aesthetic goals.  From there, a custom microtreatment plan can be established. We pride ourselves on customization – because no two beautiful faces are the same! We also offer 3D consultations – with the use of advanced technology we can actually let you preview your results prior to treatment. With Botox, you start to see effects within 10 days and see full results at 14. Whereas filler is more instant but you’ll want to plan for a little swelling and redness. Depending on what area is treated, filler can settle completely after about a week to 10 days.

JD: What makes Alchemy 43 unique from other aesthetic brands?

NL:Our mantra is, the best work goes unnoticed. We specialize in the art of subtly. We believe in not altering one’s natural aesthetic but refreshing your unique facial features and anatomy. Our practitioners undergo specific, specialized and artful training to ensure the best, most natural results – every time!  We also believe in personalization. Since everyone is unique, no two dosages or specific treatments will yield the exact same result for different clients. It is truly an art and there is a mastery to providing a unique treatment plan for each and every one of our clients.

JD: In your words, how is healthy skin perceived by others in the workforce?

NL: I think skin health is becoming increasingly more recognized and important to Boomers, Millennials and Gen Zs. It is something that requires repetition and commitment and Alchemy 43 is happy to provide that for all of our clients. In the beauty industry in particular, I think having great skin speaks to the care and consideration that goes into your own personal beauty & wellness regimen. Self-care is vital and don’t forget that SPF! 😉

JD: How many times per year is recommended for a patient seeking treatment?

NL: It really depends! We recommend Botox micro treatments on a quarterly basis to maintain a smooth look. Filler treatments such as our Well-Rounded cheek enhancement or our High Profile jawline enhancement are actually FDA approved to last up to 2 years…so maintenance for those can be less frequent. However, it’s always important to keep in mind that individual differences like how fast you metabolize the product can vary from person to person.
